An oxbow lake has expressed his frustration with friends who have ignored him since he became famous.
The lake, hailed by scientists as “a natural geological phenomenon,” has declared he’s “sick and tired” of the constant snide remarks.
“It’s depressing,” said the lake, who has taken himself off social media.
“It’s not my fault I’m the only thing that students remember from their geology lessons. I’m no different from other naturally occurring erosive processes like scree, terminal moraine and acid dissolution.”
Speaking of the psychological impact of the trolls, he said, “I just get worn down by these constant attacks.” Adding, “Don’t publish that – the sedimentary rock formations go nuts.”
